Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 27) ➊ { وَلِلّٰهِمُلْكُالسَّمٰوٰتِوَالْاَرْضِ:} In the previous verse, the act of giving life for the first time and causing death was presented as evidence for resurrection on the Day of Judgment. In this verse, being the sole owner of the heavens and the earth—that is, the entire universe—is mentioned as evidence for the Day of Judgment, that He can do whatever He wills with His dominion. He can create the entire universe, cause it to perish, and then create it again. After this, some conditions of the Day of Judgment are mentioned.
➋ { وَيَوْمَتَقُوْمُالسَّاعَةُيَوْمَىِٕذٍيَّخْسَرُالْمُبْطِلُوْنَ:} Just as a merchant strives to gain profit through his capital, in the same way Allah Almighty has granted man the capital of life, health, and intellect in this world and commanded him to strive to gain the profit of success in the Hereafter. The people of falsehood, that is, the disbelievers, instead of gaining profit through this precious capital, spent it in associating partners with Allah, disobeying Him, and denying the Day of Judgment, and thus remained in clear loss. The full manifestation of this loss will occur when the Day of Judgment is established, because in this world there is still an opportunity to make up for this loss, but at that time there will be no permission to return to the marketplace of deeds so that they can make up for their loss. For further details of this loss, see the exegesis of Surah Al-Asr.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
27. To Allah alone belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and on the Day when the Hour is established, on that Day those who followed falsehood will be in loss [40].
[40] By "followers of falsehood" are meant those people who deny the Hereafter, whether they are atheists, naturalists, or simply deniers of the Hereafter. Since such people will have no thought of being held accountable for their deeds, they will not have performed any good deeds with this in mind. On that day, they will realize how greatly they were deceived and how much loss they have incurred.
