Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 11) ➊ {هٰذَاهُدًى:} means that this Quran is complete guidance. {’’ هُدًى ‘‘} is a verbal noun in the sense of an intensive active participle, just as {’’زَيْدٌعَدْلٌ‘‘} means that Zaid is so just that he is the embodiment of justice. One interpretation of the meaning of { ’’ هٰذَاهُدًى ‘‘} is that "this Quran is perfect in guidance." Zamakhshari said: The meaning of {’’ هٰذَاهُدًى ‘‘} is that this Quran is perfect in guidance, just as you say {’’زَيْدٌرَجُلٌ‘‘} meaning "Zaid is perfect in manliness." ➋ The word {وَالَّذِيْنَكَفَرُوْابِاٰيٰتِرَبِّهِمْ … : ’’ رِجْزٍ ‘‘} is used for the most severe forms of punishment.

11, 1. That is, the Quran! Because its very purpose of revelation is to bring people out of the darknesses of disbelief and polytheism into the light of faith.

[14] Which, in due time, is warning you that on the Day of Resurrection, none of your helpers will be able to benefit you. Also, this Quran shows you a most suitable and balanced way to live your life in this world. And it also shows the path by which you can attain salvation from the punishment of the Hereafter.
