Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 70) ➊ There are two explanations for the exegesis of { اُدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ اَنْتُمْ وَ اَزْوَاجُكُمْ: ’’ اَزْوَاجُكُمْ ‘‘}: one is that it refers to those people who were their like-minded companions and associates in the world. The second is that it refers to their wives who supported them in righteous deeds. Both can be meant at the same time, but taking wives as the meaning is more likely, because the Qur'an repeatedly mentions them, and the pleasure and joy in being joined with them is not found with other like-minded companions. See Surah Ya-Sin (55, 56), Ad-Dukhan (54), Al-Waqi'ah (22, 23), Ar-Rahman (70 to 72), As-Saffat (48), and Surah Sad (52).
{ تُحْبَرُوْنَ:} For its exegesis, see the exegesis of Surah Ar-Rum, Ayah (15).

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

70. 1. Some have understood اَزْوَاجُکُمْ to mean believing wives, some have taken it to mean believing companions, and some have interpreted it as the Hoor-e-Ain wives who will be met in Paradise. All these meanings are Sahih, because all of these will indeed be present in Paradise. تُحْبَرُونَ is derived from حَبْر, meaning the joy and happiness that they will experience due to the blessings and honor of Paradise.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

70. You and your spouses [67], enter Paradise and be delighted therein (in its vibrant and pure environment).

[67] One meaning of "spouses" is clear from the translation, and its other meaning is your other companions and friends who, like you, based their friendship in the world solely on piety.
