It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 107) {وَ لَا تُجَادِلْ عَنِ الَّذِيْنَ … :} This means that these people who have betrayed others, in reality, they have first betrayed their own souls, because the one who deceives others first deceives himself.

107. And do not argue on behalf of those who betray themselves [146], for Allah does not love anyone who is treacherous and sinful.

[146] By these people are meant the same relatives of the thief from the Ansari's family, who supported the thief merely out of family prejudice. Then, in front of you ﷺ, they even swore oaths regarding the thief's innocence and placed the entire blame on the innocent Jew, while the criminal had two sins: one, the theft itself, and second, blaming the Jew for the crime.
