Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 75) ➊ { وَتَرَىالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةَحَآفِّيْنَ … :} That is, when Allah Almighty will descend to judge between the people, at that time the angels will be surrounding the Throne from all around. This scene has been described in more detail at another place: « فَاِذَانُفِخَفِيالصُّوْرِنَفْخَةٌوَّاحِدَةٌ (13) وَّحُمِلَتِالْاَرْضُوَالْجِبَالُفَدُكَّتَادَكَّةًوَّاحِدَةً (14) فَيَوْمَىِٕذٍوَّقَعَتِالْوَاقِعَةُ (15) وَانْشَقَّتِالسَّمَآءُفَهِيَيَوْمَىِٕذٍوَّاهِيَةٌ (16) وَّالْمَلَكُعَلٰۤىاَرْجَآىِٕهَاوَيَحْمِلُعَرْشَرَبِّكَفَوْقَهُمْيَوْمَىِٕذٍثَمٰنِيَةٌ (17) يَوْمَىِٕذٍتُعْرَضُوْنَلَاتَخْفٰىمِنْكُمْخَافِيَةٌ»[ الحآقۃ : ۱۳ تا ۱۸ ] "So when the Trumpet will be blown, a single blowing. And the earth and the mountains will be lifted up and then crushed with a single crushing. Then, on that Day, the Event will occur. And the heaven will split apart, for that Day it will be frail. And the angels will be at its edges, and the Throne of your Lord will be carried above them, that Day, by eight (angels). That Day you will be presented, not a single secret of yours will remain hidden." See the commentary of these verses in Surah Al-Haqqah.
➋ { مِنْحَوْلِالْعَرْشِ:} Here is a question: it would have been sufficient to say {’’حَافِّيْنَحَوْلَالْعَرْشِ‘‘} that they will be surrounding the Throne, so what was the need to bring the word {’’ مِنْ ‘‘}? Some commentators have answered that this {’’ مِنْ ‘‘ } is extra. Al-Biqa'i said that this {’’ مِنْ ‘‘ } is for partition, meaning that no matter how many angels there are, the Throne is such a great creation of Allah Almighty that even if all the angels gather, they will only be able to surround some parts of its circumference.
➌ { وَقُضِيَبَيْنَهُمْبِالْحَقِّ:} That is, in such a majestic and awe-inspiring environment, Allah Almighty will judge between the people with truth.
➍ {وَقِيْلَالْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِرَبِّالْعٰلَمِيْنَ:} That is, the conclusion of the people's judgment will be upon the praise of Allah, Lord of the worlds. Because of the generality of those who praise, in {’’ قِيْلَ ‘‘} (it will be said), the one who says it is not mentioned. The meaning is that when the judgment is completed, every particle of the universe will praise Allah, Lord of the worlds, for these entirely just and merciful judgments, and from every side the voice will be heard: « اَلْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِرَبِّالْعٰلَمِيْنَ» "All praise is for Allah, Lord of all the worlds." Al-Tabari has mentioned with an authentic chain the statement of Qatadah, who said: "The beginning of the creation of the creatures is also with praise, as He said: « اَلْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِالَّذِيْخَلَقَالسَّمٰوٰتِوَالْاَرْضَوَجَعَلَالظُّلُمٰتِوَالنُّوْرَ »[ الأنعام : ۱ ] 'All praise is for Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light.' And the end of the creation is also with praise, He said: « وَقُضِيَبَيْنَهُمْبِالْحَقِّوَقِيْلَالْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِرَبِّالْعٰلَمِيْنَ »[ الزمر : ۷۵ ] 'And it will be judged between them with truth, and it will be said: All praise is for Allah, Lord of all the worlds.'" (Tabari) For us, the lesson in this is that at the end of every task, there should be praise and glorification of Allah Almighty, as has been said about the people of Paradise: « دَعْوٰىهُمْفِيْهَاسُبْحٰنَكَاللّٰهُمَّوَتَحِيَّتُهُمْفِيْهَاسَلٰمٌوَاٰخِرُدَعْوٰىهُمْاَنِالْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِرَبِّالْعٰلَمِيْنَ»[ یونس : ۱۰ ] "Their call therein will be, 'Exalted are You, O Allah!' and their greeting therein will be, 'Peace.' And the conclusion of their call will be, 'All praise is for Allah, Lord of all the worlds.'" For more about praise, see the commentary of Surah Al-Fatihah.

75. 1. After the divine decree, when the believers will enter Paradise and the disbelievers and polytheists will enter Hell, the verse describes the scene after this: the angels will surround the Throne of Allah, engaged in glorification and praise.
75. 2. Here, praise is not attributed to any one creature, from which it is understood that on the tongues of every thing (speaking and non-speaking), there will be songs of praise to Allah.

75. And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, glorifying their Lord with praise [96]. And judgment will be passed between the people in truth, and it will be said: "All praise is for Allah, the Lord of all the worlds."
[96] The Cries of ﴿الحمد لله﴾ to the Lord of the Worlds When the Court is Dismissed:
That is, on the day when Allah Almighty will descend in majesty to judge between the people in the field of resurrection, at that time the angels will surround the Throne of Allah Almighty from all sides. And when Allah Almighty has judged between the people with justice before all witnesses, then from every side, the slogan of ﴿ألْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِرَبِّالْعَالَمِيْنَ﴾ will be raised with great enthusiasm. Upon this slogan of praise, the court of Allah Almighty will be dismissed. Then all people will be sent to their abodes according to their judgment. It should be noted that this day will be, according to the current reckoning of day and night, fifty thousand years long.
