Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 62) ➊ { اَللّٰهُ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ …:} After the promises for the people of Tawheed and the warnings for the polytheists, the mention of the arguments for Allah Almighty’s oneness and the refutation of shirk begins again. Ibn Ashur said: {’’ اَللّٰهُ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ‘‘} and the next two sentences after it are a prelude to {’’قُلْ اَفَغَيْرَ اللّٰهِ تَاْمُرُوْٓنِّيْۤ اَعْبُدُ اَيُّهَا الْجٰهِلُوْنَ ‘‘} and are evidence for worshipping Allah alone. The first sentence is {’’ اَللّٰهُ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ‘‘}, and it is clear that when everything is created by Allah Almighty, then worship is also His right alone. Allah Almighty has repeatedly stated His being the only true deity as evidence by mentioning that He is the Creator of everything. See Surah Al-An’am (102), Ar-Ra’d (16), Fatir (3), Al-Mu’min (62), and Surah Al-Hajj (73).

{وَ هُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَّكِيْلٌ : ’’وَكَلَ يَكِلُ‘‘} (ض) To entrust. “Wakeel” is the one to whom something is entrusted so that he may protect and oversee it and do with it as he wills. This is the second argument for worshipping Allah alone, meaning just as only Allah Almighty is the Creator of everything, likewise only Allah Almighty is the Manager and Protector of everything; neither is anyone His partner in creating anything, nor in its protection and management. Therefore, the command to entrust all your matters and affairs to Allah Almighty has been given repeatedly in the Qur’an. He said: « وَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ » [ آل عمران : ۱۲۲ ] “And upon Allah alone, therefore, let the believers place their trust.” And He said: « وَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُتَوَكِّلُوْنَ » [ إبراہیم : ۱۲ ] “And upon Allah alone, therefore, let those who trust, place their trust.”

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

That is, He alone is the Creator of everything and also the Owner; He disposes and manages as He wills. Everything is under His authority and control; no one has the power to resist or deny Him. Wakil means Protector and Manager; everything is entrusted to Him, and He, without anyone's partnership, is protecting and managing them.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Allah is the Creator of all things [80], and He is the Guardian over everything.

[80] That is, Allah is not only the Creator of everything, but He is also overseeing everything at every moment. Through this, the system of the universe runs in an orderly manner. The sustenance of all living beings depends on the regularity of this system. The earth produces vegetation through rain. Likewise, all kinds of minerals and other treasures buried in the earth are all within Allah’s knowledge and control. Even today, they are under His control, and tomorrow they will remain under His control. Likewise, Paradise and Hell are also under His control. Therefore, how can a person who denies Allah’s verses and rebels against Him hope for success? Such people will certainly remain in loss.
