➋ { ذٰلِكَ جَزٰٓؤُا الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ:} Here, some words are omitted: {’’لِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا مُحْسِنِيْنَ‘‘} because they were doers of good, and this is the reward for those who do good. For the explanation of "Ihsan," see Surah Al-Baqarah (58), Yusuf (36), and Qasas (14 and 77).

One meaning of "Muhsineen" is those who do good deeds; the second is those who worship Allah with sincerity, as the definition of Ihsan is given in the hadith: "An ta'bud Allah ka'annaka tarahu fa'in lam takun tarahu fa'innahu yarak" — Worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state, then at least know that He sees you. The third meaning is those who treat people with kindness and good conduct. The fourth is those who perform every good deed in the best manner, with humility and devotion, and in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, giving importance to excellence rather than quantity.

[50] As soon as every person reaches the threshold of death, he arrives in the presence of his Lord. Therefore, the series of Allah's rewards begins from this very point, and there are many stages before entering Paradise where Allah's favors will be bestowed upon such God-fearing people. And Allah Almighty will fulfill their wishes. For example, they will wish to be protected from the punishment of the grave and from the terrors and hardships of reckoning on the Day of Judgment, so such wishes of theirs will be fulfilled.
