➋ {قُلْ اِنَّ الْخٰسِرِيْنَ الَّذِيْنَ خَسِرُوْۤا اَنْفُسَهُمْ …: ’’ الْخٰسِرِيْنَ ‘‘} Here, "al" is for perfection, meaning the the complete and real losers are those. A person values himself and his family the most. It is stated: "Say,, the truly ruined people are those who, by committing shirk and teaching shirk, have made themselves and their families the fuel of Hell on the Day of Judgment, because the loss of this world can be remedied, but the loss of the Day of Judgment can never be remedied.
➌ { اَلَا ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِيْنُ:} Keeping in view the foolishness and dull-mindedness of the polytheists, once again, in clear words, their obvious loss is expressed, so that perhaps from any statement they may turn towards tawheed.

Different Aspects of Loss Due to Shirk:
This clear loss is in the sense that even if the polytheists have performed some good deeds, they will be ruined because of shirk. Now, only their sins will remain. Secondly, they will also bear a share of the sins of their children proportionally. Thirdly, in this world, such a loss can be compensated in a way that later on, some profit may occur. On the Day of Judgment, even this possibility will not exist, as if loss from every direction will surround them.
