Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 59) {هٰذَافَوْجٌمُّقْتَحِمٌمَّعَكُمْ …:} Ibn Kathir said, here Allah Almighty has mentioned the conversations that the people of Hell will have with each other, as He said: « كُلَّمَادَخَلَتْاُمَّةٌلَّعَنَتْاُخْتَهَا »[ الأعراف : ۳۸ ] "Whenever a group enters, it will curse its companion." That is, instead of greeting each other, they will curse one another and call each other liars and disbelievers. Thus, the group that enters before the other, when the next group enters with the gatekeeper angels of Hell, the first group will say to the angels, this is a group that is barging in with you, there is no welcome for them, surely they are to enter the Fire.

59. 1. At the gates of Hell, the angels standing there will say to the leaders of disbelief and the guides of misguidance, when the followers among the disbelievers enter Hell, or the leaders of disbelief and misguidance will say this, pointing towards the followers. 59. 2. These leaders, in response to the angels or among themselves, will say this for the disbelievers entering Hell. The meaning of رَحْبَۃ is spaciousness and vastness.

The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Behold) this is another group [59] (of your followers) rushing in to join you. No welcome for them! They too will enter the Fire [60].
[59] Here, the word "azwaj" is used in the sense of "similar things," meaning that they will have to eat or drink many other filthy and unpleasant things like these, or they will be punished with such things. [60] The Mutual Conversation and Accusation Among the People of Hell:
This presents a conversation at the time when the people of Hell are being admitted into Hell. The first group will be the leaders, chiefs, and guides. The angels will bring them to the edge of Hell. Then, after them, a great multitude of their followers will be brought. As soon as the leaders see this great multitude, they will say: "Here is another group eagerly advancing to enter Hell." "May Allah's curse and wrath be upon them—where have they come from?" When the latter group hears this from the former, they will say: "May Allah's curse and wrath be upon you! You were our leaders and the cause of our coming here into Hell. And now you are the ones cursing and condemning us."
