Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 24) {وَ قِفُوْهُمْ اِنَّهُمْ مَّسْـُٔوْلُوْنَ :} While being taken towards the path of Hell, it will be commanded to stop them, because they will be questioned about their deeds. At that time, their friends who participated with them in their worldly disbelief, polytheism, and other evil deeds, as well as their false deities, will also be with them, as He said: « وَ يَوْمَ يُحْشَرُ اَعْدَآءُ اللّٰهِ اِلَى النَّارِ فَهُمْ يُوْزَعُوْنَ» [ حٰمٓ السجدۃ : ۱۹ ] "And the Day when the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the Fire, then they will be divided into groups." One meaning of {’’ يُوْزَعُوْنَ ‘‘} is that they will be divided into groups, and another meaning is that they will be stopped.
