Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 18) ➊ {قُلْنَعَمْ :} That is, say to them: Yes, you and your forefathers will be raised again after becoming dust and bones. ➋ { وَاَنْتُمْدَاخِرُوْنَ : ’’دَخَرَيَدْخَرُدُخُوْرًا‘‘} (F) To be humiliated and insignificant. That is, you will be raised in such a state that you will be helpless and insignificant before the power of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. Your rising will not be by choice but by compulsion, meaning just as you had no say in your birth and death, likewise you will be compelled and helpless in being raised again, as He said: «وَكُلٌّاَتَوْهُدٰخِرِيْنَ »[ النمل : ۸۷ ] "And all of them will come to Him humbled."

The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

[10] How is Man Given Life Again?
The objection and denial of the disbelievers of Makkah regarding this has been mentioned at many places in the Quran, and its answer has also been given in various ways. At this place too, it is mentioned that man's creation is from clay. Then, even after coming to life, he has not become separate from the clay or earth; rather, all his needs are connected to the clay or earth. Even after death, he will be buried in this clay. So, when he decays and becomes dust and mixes with the earth, the earth will not throw out his decomposed elements. Rather, it will keep them safe and preserved within itself. Then Allah Almighty will gather those decomposed elements again and bring them back to their original state. His soul had already been taken at the time of death, and this very soul is his real identity, which is already in Allah's possession. This very soul will be put back into his body and he will be raised up again. As for the matter that none of their forefathers, who died long ago, have come back to life or returned to them, the answer to this is that a seed lying in the earth remains there. When the time for it to sprout comes, it sprouts only at that time, not before. In the same way, when the time or season for your resurrection comes, only then will you and your forefathers rise and come out of the earth, not before. And another thing is that after being brought back to life, they will not come to you, but you and they will all be presented before Allah.
