(Ayah 62) {اَفَلَمْ تَكُوْنُوْا تَعْقِلُوْنَ :} That is, did you not have enough sense to realize that when Satan was your enemy, you should not have followed the path he showed you?

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. 62. 1. That is, you do not even have enough sense to realize that Shaytan is your enemy, and you should not obey him. And I am your Lord, I am the one who provides for you and I am the one who protects you day and night, therefore you should not disobey Me. By not understanding the enmity of Shaytan and My right to be worshipped, you are displaying extreme foolishness and ignorance.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

62. Yet he has led a great multitude of you astray [57]. Will you not then use your reason?

[57] Despite the fact that Allah Almighty took a covenant from all the children of Adam, and this covenant was ﴿ألَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ﴾, then Allah also gave you intellect to think and understand, then Allah Almighty kept sending His messengers and books to remind you of this covenant, yet this very Satan succeeded in leading a large number of the children of Adam astray. Therefore, O covenant-breaking criminals! You did not use your intellect at all, so now the result is before you. Hell is waiting for you. The punishment for rejecting the call of the messengers and for stubbornness is that now you must enter this Hell.
