Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 3) ➊ {يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ … :} That is, do not forget the blessings of Allah Almighty and do not be ungrateful; tell me, is there any creator besides Allah who is providing you sustenance? Obviously, there is none. This is a rhetorical question.
{فَاَنّٰى تُؤْفَكُوْنَ :} That is, then how did you get deceived that Allah Almighty is the Creator and Provider, but worship and obedience are done to others? There is a famous saying: "Sing the praises of the one whose bread you eat."

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

3. 1. That is, even after this explanation and clarification, do you still worship others besides Allah? The meaning is, from where did denial of Tawheed and the Hereafter come into you, when you acknowledge that your Creator and Sustainer is Allah (Fath al-Qadeer).

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

3. O people! Remember Allah’s favor upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heavens and the earth? There is no deity except Him. So how are you being deluded [6]?

Rain is the Source of Sustenance for All Living Beings:

The rain that descends from the skies is absorbed into the earth and becomes the means of sustenance and the survival of all animals. Now, if one reflects upon the system of rainfall, it becomes clear that there are many factors and elements which Allah has appointed for this service. Only then does the rain fall, and all these elements and factors are purely under Allah’s control. The deities of the polytheists have no involvement in them. From this, it becomes clearly evident that no being other than Allah is worthy of worship. Then how ungrateful and thankless it is to eat the sustenance given by Allah and worship others besides Him, or to associate others with Him in worship! Therefore, O polytheists of Makkah! Tell us, where does this deviation in your reasoning come from?
