(Ayah 27) ➊ { قُلْاَرُوْنِيَالَّذِيْنَاَلْحَقْتُمْبِهٖشُرَكَآءَ :} That is, before the Hereafter arrives and a decision is made between us and you, tell me right here: what is it about these deities of yours that makes you consider them partners of Allah or your objects of worship, and rely on their support to feel secure from Allah’s punishment? ➋ { كَلَّابَلْهُوَاللّٰهُالْعَزِيْزُالْحَكِيْمُ :} No, they can never be His partners; rather, the only one deserving of worship is Allah, who is dominant over all and possesses perfect wisdom, whereas these helpless beings are neither mighty nor wise—they possess nothing but servitude and helplessness.

Say, "Show me those whom you have joined with Him as partners." By no means can you do so. Rather, He alone is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise [42].
[42] This is the second question posed to the disbelievers of Makkah. The first question was related to Allah’s provision; the second is related to His creatorship: Allah has created this entire universe, and us, and you as well. Therefore, it is the right of the creation to worship its Creator and to praise and glorify Him. Now, either point out that your deities have also created such-and-such thing in this universe, and that it is your deities who brought us from non-existence into existence. After all, show us some creative achievement of theirs. And if you cannot show any creative achievement of theirs, then on what basis and for what reason have you made these deities partners with Allah? Furthermore, when it has become clear that the Creator of everything is Allah, then He is also the Owner of everything and Dominant over everything, for He is the One who created this system of the universe filled with wisdom. Therefore, your deities are also created, owned, and subdued. Then how did they become worthy of worship?
