(Ayah 64){ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَعَنَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ … :} In Mufradat Raghib, the meaning of {’’لَعَنَ‘‘} is to drive away in anger. By Allah’s curse is meant to punish in the Hereafter, and in this world to deprive from His mercy and Tawfiq. And the curse of a human is to pray against someone. That is, these disbelievers who hurt the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), whether they are open deniers or hypocrites, Allah Almighty has distanced them from His mercy and Tawfiq, and has prepared for them a blazing fire.

Indeed, Allah has surely cursed the disbelievers [105] and has prepared for them a blazing Fire.

[105] This is a consequence of that very curse: they ask pointless questions, with their only aim being amusement and mockery, and they do not fear the fire of Hell that has been prepared for them.
