Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 4) ➊ { اَللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضَ وَ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِيْ سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ :} After mentioning the truth of the Noble Qur’an and the Prophethood of the Noble Messenger (peace be upon him), the most important issue is mentioned, towards which you (peace be upon him) and all the messengers were sent to invite, and that is the Oneness of Allah and the explanation of its proofs. Thus, it is said: “Allah is the One Who created the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them in six days.” By these days are not meant the known days, because before the creation of the heavens and the earth, their existence was not there; it is possible that those days were thousands or millions of years. See Surah Al-A’raf (54) and Ha Mim As-Sajdah (9 to 12).
{ ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ :} For its explanation, see Surah Al-A’raf (54), Yunus (3), and Ta-Ha (5).
{مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِهٖ مِنْ وَّلِيٍّ وَّ لَا شَفِيْعٍ :} This is a refutation of the false notion that although Allah is the Owner of the heavens, the earth, and everything, there are some beings so powerful or beloved to Allah that they will intercede and save from His grasp. It is said: Beware! If He wills to punish you, there will be no friend to save you from His punishment, nor any intercessor who would dare to intercede without His permission.
{ اَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُوْنَ :} That is, do you not take heed that from the Throne to the earth, His sovereignty prevails? Where will you go by denying His message and His Messenger?

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

7. Al-A'raf:54) footnote. Here, the purpose of repeating this subject seems to be that by mentioning Allah's perfect power and wondrous craftsmanship, perhaps they will listen to the Quran and reflect upon it.

4-2. That is, there will be no such friend there who can help you and avert Allah's punishment from you, nor will there be any intercessor who can intercede for you.

4-3. That is, O worshippers of others besides Allah and those who rely on others! Do you then not take heed?

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

It is Allah Who created the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them in six days, then He established Himself upon the Throne [4]. You have no protector or intercessor [5] besides Him. Will you not then take heed?

[4] For the explanation of ﴿اسْتَوٰي عَلَي الْعَرْشِ﴾, please see the footnote of Surah Al-A'raf, verse number 54.
[5] That is, the Being who is so Powerful that He can bring the entire universe into existence from nothing—what use can your deities, whom you consider your guardians and intercessors, be in comparison to Him? Do you not even understand such an obvious matter?
