Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 30) ➊ { فَاَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَ انْتَظِرْ :} Those who deny the Resurrection merely because they have not been told its exact time, it is useless to try to convince them; leave them to their own state and wait to see when Allah’s promise is fulfilled, which is bound to be fulfilled in any case.

{اِنَّهُمْ مُّنْتَظِرُوْنَ :} Surely, they too are waiting to see when you and your small group will fall victim to some turn of fate. See Surah At-Tawbah (98) and in Surah At-Tur it is said: «{ اَمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ شَاعِرٌ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهٖ رَيْبَ الْمَنُوْنِ (30) قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوْا فَاِنِّيْ مَعَكُمْ مِّنَ الْمُتَرَبِّصِيْنَ [ الطور : ۳۰، ۳۱ ] “Or do they say: ‘He is a poet for whom we await the accidents of time?’ Say: ‘Wait, for indeed I am with you among those who wait.’”

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

30-1. That is, turn away from these polytheists and continue the work of preaching and invitation in your own manner, and follow what is revealed to you. As it is said in another place, "اتبع ما اوحی الیک من ربک لا الہ الا ہو واعرض عن المشرکین" — Remain steadfast on the way that has been revealed to you from your Lord; there is no one worthy of worship except Allah, and do not pay attention to the polytheists.

30-2. That is, regarding Allah's promise — when will it be fulfilled and when will He grant you dominance over your opponents? Surely, it will definitely be fulfilled.

30-3. That is, the disbelievers are waiting, perhaps this Prophet will himself fall into misfortune and his call will come to an end. But the world saw that Allah fulfilled the promises made to His Prophet, and He humiliated the opponents who were waiting for his downfall, or made them his slaves.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. So turn away from them and wait; surely, they too are waiting [31].

[31] Leave off disputing and arguing with them. Leave them to their own state. You should wait for when Allah’s promise is fulfilled, and it will surely be fulfilled, insha’Allah. And those people are waiting for when you and your small and weak group will fall victim to the turns of time.
