Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 28) ➊ { مَا خَلْقُكُمْ وَ لَا بَعْثُكُمْ اِلَّا كَنَفْسٍ وَّاحِدَةٍ :} After mentioning the perfection of Allah’s knowledge and power, the claim of the disbelievers is refuted that how will we be brought back to life again? Thus, it is said that creating all of you and resurrecting you is just like creating and reviving a single person for Allah, because He brings all things into existence with the word {’’كُنْ‘‘}, so what difficulty is there for Him in resurrecting you again? See Surah Ya-Sin (22 and 79).

{ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَمِيْعٌۢ بَصِيْرٌ :} The relevance of these two attributes here is that Allah hears the calls of billions of humans at the same time. Hearing the supplication of one person does not distract or incapacitate Him from hearing another’s supplication. For Him, hearing the supplication of one person at a time and hearing the supplications of billions of people at the same time is the same. Moreover, His creation is not limited to humans only, but there are millions of species and in numbers of billions and trillions; He hears the supplication and plea of all of them, and He hears the plea of an ant just as He hears that of a human. Then, the matter is not limited to hearing only, but along with hearing, He is also seeing all His creation. He is aware of their apparent and hidden conditions, He is providing them sustenance, and fulfilling all their needs. The same is the case with His creation; creating one human is just like creating all humans for Him. At the same time, He is creating millions of humans and billions of other creatures, and after death, on the Day of Resurrection, He will resurrect all humans at the same time in the same way. For Him, there is no difference between resurrecting one human and resurrecting all humans. (Kilani)

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

1. That is, His power is so great that creating all of you or resurrecting you on the Day of Judgment is like creating. Therefore, whatever He wills comes into existence in the blink of an eye with the word "كُنْ".

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

28. Creating all of you and resurrecting you is just like creating a single soul [36] (for Allah). Surely, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

Allah’s Creative and Descriptive Deeds:

To understand this, consider that Allah Almighty hears the calls of billions of humans at the same time. Listening to the prayer of one person does not distract or prevent Him from listening to the prayers of others. For Him, listening to the prayer of one person at a time and listening to the prayers of billions of people at the same time is the same. Furthermore, His creation is not limited to humans alone. There are millions of species and their numbers are in billions and trillions. He hears the prayers and pleas of all of them. And He hears the plea of an ant just as He hears the plea of a human. Then, the matter is not limited to just hearing. With these same perfections, He is also watching all His creation. He is aware of their apparent and hidden conditions. He is also providing them with sustenance and fulfilling all their needs. The same is the case with His creation. Creating one human is just like creating all humans for Him. At the same time, He is creating millions of humans and billions of other creatures, and on the Day of Resurrection, He will resurrect humans after death in the same way, all at once. For Him, there is no difference between resurrecting one human and resurrecting all humans.
