Surah Ar-Room (30) — Ayah 59

كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿59﴾
Thus does Allâh seal up the hearts of those who know not [the proofs and evidence of the Oneness of Allâh i.e. those who try not to understand true facts that which you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) have brought to them].
كَذَٰلِكَ kadhālika Thus
يَطْبَعُ yaṭbaʿu Allah seals
ٱللَّهُ l-lahu Allah seals
عَلَىٰ ʿalā [on]
قُلُوبِ qulūbi (the) hearts
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna (of) those who
لَا (do) not
يَعْلَمُونَ yaʿlamūna know

(Ayah 59) {كَذٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللّٰهُ … :} That is, those whose hearts are devoid of authentic knowledge and who persistently deny everything out of stubbornness, eventually the result is that they no longer retain the ability to accept the truth.

59. Thus Allah sets a seal [65] upon the hearts of those who do not understand.

[65] That is, when people's malice, enmity, stubbornness, and obstinacy reach such a level that they are not ready to accept any truth, then this is precisely the time when Allah sets a seal upon the hearts of such people. This means that now the capacity to accept the truth has ended in these people.
