Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 56) {وَ قَالَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَ الْاِيْمَانَ … :} That is, just as in the world, those with knowledge and faith used to refute their lies and establish proof against them, even now, upon hearing their words, they will immediately refute them, saying that you are lying when you say that you did not stay in the world for more than an hour. In reality, you remained until the Day of Resurrection according to what Allah had decreed. So this is the Day of Resurrection that has come exactly as promised, but you did not know this; rather, you used to mock it and say to the messengers, "Bring that Resurrection which you threaten us with."

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

56-1. Just as these scholars used to explain in the world as well.
56-2. By کِتَا بِ اللّٰہِ is meant Allah's knowledge and His decree, that is, the Preserved Tablet (al-Lawh al-Mahfuz).
56-3. That is, from the time of birth until the Day of Resurrection.
56-4. That it will come, rather you used to demand it as a mockery and denial.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

56. And those who were given knowledge and faith will say: "You remained as long as Allah had decreed, until the Day of Resurrection [62]. So this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not know it."

[62] Upon hearing such oaths from them, the believers will say to them that this is not a matter of an hour or two; you are deluded. According to Allah’s knowledge or what is written in the Preserved Tablet, you remained until the Day of Resurrection, and look, today is the Day of Resurrection, and this is the very day which you were absolutely unwilling to accept. And you did not even want to know about it.
