And among His Signs is that the heaven and the earth stand by His Command. Then afterwards when He will call you by a single call, behold, you will come out from the earth (i.e. from your graves for reckoning and recompense).

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 25) ➊ {وَمِنْاٰيٰتِهٖۤاَنْتَقُوْمَالسَّمَآءُوَالْاَرْضُبِاَمْرِهٖ:} Before this, Allah mentioned among His signs the creation of the heavens and the earth; now He says that among His signs is also this: that such magnificent heavens and earth, and the sun, moon, and stars within them, are established in their places and revolve in their orbits solely by His command, without any pillar or supporting thing, as He said: «{ كُلٌّفِيْفَلَكٍيَّسْبَحُوْنَ}»[ الأنبیاء : ۳۳ ] "All are swimming in an orbit." He has placed in each, with His perfect wisdom and with the most precise and accurate calculation, such a force of attraction and repulsion that no two bodies collide with each other. There is never any mutual collision in Allah's system. If it were not for His command, neither the heavens could remain in their place nor the earth. See Surah Hajj (65) and Surah Fatir (41).
➋ { ثُمَّاِذَادَعَاكُمْدَعْوَةً… :} Then do not think that this system is permanent or eternal, or that whoever has died will remain dead forever. No, rather ({ثُمَّ}) a time is coming when, in your state of being buried in the earth, He will call you with a single call, and you will suddenly come out of the earth. What is meant by this is the second blowing of the trumpet, as He said: «{ ثُمَّنُفِخَفِيْهِاُخْرٰىفَاِذَاهُمْقِيَامٌيَّنْظُرُوْنَ }»[ الزمر : ۶۸ ] "Then it will be blown into it a second time, and suddenly they will be standing, looking on." For similar verses, see Bani Isra'il (52), Ya-Sin (53), and Nazi'at (13, 14).
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
25-1 That is, when the Day of Resurrection is established, this entire system of the heavens and the earth, which is currently maintained by His command, will be thrown into disorder, and all humans will come out alive from their graves.
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
25. And among His signs is that the heavens and the earth stand firm without pillars by His command [23]. Then, when He calls you with a single call from the earth [24], you will come forth at once.
[23] The Necessity of the Being Who Controls the Movement of the Stars:
Wherever Allah Almighty mentions the heavens and the earth, it refers to the system of the universe, in which countless celestial bodies are in motion. According to the current theory, our earth, the moon, and many other planets are revolving around the sun. It is generally understood that the gravitational pull of each planet holds it in a specific position. But the matter is not that simple. In our solar system, the sun is the largest star. Therefore, its gravitational pull or attractive force is so great that it could pull every planet towards itself. But this does not happen. Therefore, it is necessary that there exists such an authoritative and omnipotent Being who, despite the pull of gravity, keeps these planets established in their respective orbits. No physical cause can be explained that has bound all the planets in the open space so that they all continue to revolve around the sun in always determined orbits and also move in a particular manner in which there is never any deviation. Then, considering the movements of the planets and the degrees of their speed, and the distances between them and the sun, the precise proportion and deep balance that has been maintained—there is no physical cause that could connect these organized and coordinated planets. One is compelled to admit that this entire system is under the control of such a powerful, wise, and knowledgeable Being who is fully aware of the materials of all these celestial bodies and their nature. He knows how much gravitational force will be produced from what quantity of any material. With His powerful estimation, He has determined various distances and different degrees of movement between the planets and the sun so that there is no collision or interference between them and the whole universe does not crash and get destroyed.
[24] At this point, Allah Almighty has described the blowing of Israfil’s trumpet as His call. That is, all the humans who have died or will die until the Day of Resurrection, all will, at Allah’s single call, rise alive from their graves and set out towards the field of gathering.
