Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 193) ➊ By {رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا … : ”مُنَادِيًا“} is meant the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), or the Quran, or it can refer to any person who presents the call to truth.
{رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا:} In this, there is a supplication for forgiveness of sins through the act of bringing faith, and this is established in the Sunnah.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The exegesis of this verse has been done along with the previous verse.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

"Our Lord! We have heard a caller calling to faith [193], saying, 'Believe in your Lord,' so we have believed. Our Lord, forgive us our sins, remove our misdeeds from us, and cause us to die with the righteous."

The Solution to the Mystery of the Universe and the Place of Man Within It:

The caller refers to the Messenger of Allah, who guides mankind in the light of divine revelation. This is a special favor from Allah that He did not leave this mystery solely to human intellect, but rather, by sending His messengers and revealing scriptures, He Himself explained the solution to this mystery. Man has been informed that his true position in the universe is that he is the noblest of all creatures. Nothing in the universe can harm or benefit him . All his benefit and harm is in the hands of the Creator and Master who is the Creator of this entire universe. Then, it is through the messengers and the scriptures that man has been told the purpose of his life: that he should worship only Allah and live in this world in such a way that he attains salvation in the Hereafter. Along with this, he has also been told not to rely solely on his good deeds, but to continue seeking forgiveness for his sins from Allah and to keep praying for goodness.
