Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 18) ➊ {شَهِدَاللّٰهُاَنَّهٗلَاۤاِلٰهَاِلَّاهُوَ:} The only religion acceptable to Allah is Islam, as will be mentioned in the next verse, and the foundation of Islam is the oneness of Allah. This reality is being conveyed to the delegation of Najran and the entire world. The meaning of { ”شَهِدَ“ } is {’’ بَيَّنَوَاَعْلَمَ ‘‘}, that is, to state and to inform. (Fath al-Qadeer) A witness is one who informs with certain knowledge. That is, Allah has testified and informed with countless proofs and signs present in His creation and the entire universe, and by sending messages through His messengers, that there is none worthy of worship except Him, while He is established upon justice in all matters and conditions of His creation. And whose testimony can be greater than His? And His pure angels and the people of knowledge have also testified to this. At the end of the verse, the same claim { ”لَاۤاِلٰهَاِلَّاهُوَ“ } is repeated, and two more proofs are presented: that He is dominant over all and possesses perfect wisdom; none can overpower Him, and none possesses perfect wisdom except Him. If there is anyone, then bring him forth. ➋ { قَآىِٕمًۢابِالْقِسْطِ:} This word is in the state of {”اللّٰهُ“}.
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
18. 1. The meaning of shahadah is to state and to inform, that is, Allah Almighty has guided us towards His Oneness through whatever He has created and explained. (Fath al-Qadeer) The angels and the people of knowledge also bear witness to His Oneness. In this, there is great virtue and honor for the people of knowledge, that Allah Almighty has mentioned them along with His angels. However, by this are meant only those people of knowledge who are endowed with the knowledge of the Book and the Sunnah. (Fath al-Qadeer)
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani

It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
18. Allah Himself bears witness that there is no deity except Him, and so do the angels and those endowed with knowledge [21], upholding justice. There is no deity except Him, the Almighty, the All-Wise.
[21] The testimony of Allah Almighty is the most reliable in this regard because He Himself is the Creator of the universe and He knows precisely that there is no partner with Him in the creation and management of this universe. Secondly, the testimony of the angels is reliable because they are the managers of affairs. The management, administration, and arrangement of the universe according to Allah Almighty’s commands are entrusted to them; if there were another deity in the universe, they would certainly have knowledge of it. Thirdly, the testimony of those people is reliable who are people of knowledge, who reflect upon the universe, and the testimony of all such people is also that there is no other deity or partner with Allah in this universe, and if it were so, the system of the universe would have been destroyed long ago, or such an organized and coherent system could never have come into existence in the first place, and whatever He is doing, He is doing in complete justice and fairness.
