Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 44) ➊ { خَلَقَ اللّٰهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ :} That is, this system of the universe is established upon truth. He has created it with utmost wisdom; He has not created it uselessly or without purpose. See Surah Al-Anbiya (16) and Ad-Dukhan (38).
{اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ:} In the creation of the heavens and the earth, there are signs only for those who believe, because they alone reflect upon them. Other people pass by countless powers and signs of Allah in the heavens and the earth, but they do not pay attention. (See Surah Yusuf: 106) Those who reflect upon this system of the universe with the spirit of faith in their hearts, the reality will become clear to them that this system has neither been created without a Creator nor can it have more than one Creator. There is only one Pure Being who has created it, and He alone is worthy of worship. These thinkers are the ones whom Allah has called {’’ لِقَوْمٍ يَّعْقِلُوْنَ ‘‘}. (See Al-Baqarah: 164) And these are the ones He has called {’’ لِاُولِي الْاَلْبَابِ ‘‘}. (See Aal-e-Imran: 190)

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

44-1. That is, not useless and purposeless. 44-2. That is, of Allah’s existence, His power, and knowledge and wisdom. And then, based on this very evidence, they reach the conclusion that in the universe there is no deity except Him, no fulfiller of needs and remover of difficulties except Him.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

44. Allah created the heavens [70] and the earth in truth. Surely, in their creation is a sign [71] for those who believe.

[70] That is, the earth and the heavens or the system of the universe have not been created in vain; rather, countless benefits and advantages are being derived from this system. The life and survival of every kind of creature living on earth depend on this system of the universe. If even a single component of this system is removed, not only will the lives of living beings come to an end, but even plants, vegetation, and trees will not be able to grow on earth.

[71]
Allah Has Not Delegated His Authority to Anyone:

That is, it is a point of reflection for every person of knowledge and wisdom: is it possible that Allah creates the universe, Allah grants the powers of growth to the earth, Allah sends down rain, Allah provides all the necessities of life to all creatures, but when it comes to the distribution of His sustenance, His bounty, and His mercy among people, then countless false deities appear on the scene? And people begin to think that indeed, everything has been done by Allah alone, but He has delegated the authority of distributing mercy to other personalities and Himself has become free? Can there be any greater injustice and oppression than this?
