Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 87) ➊ {وَ لَا يَصُدُّنَّكَ عَنْ اٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ بَعْدَ اِذْ اُنْزِلَتْ اِلَيْكَ : ’’ وَ لَا يَصُدُّنَّكَ ‘‘} With the dammah on Saad and Daal, this word appears in the entire Quran only at this place; in all other places, it is with the fathah on Daal. This is the third person masculine plural prohibitive verb with the emphatic particle noon thaqeelah, meaning "they must never prevent you." This is the second command: after the revelation of Allah’s verses, no matter how much the disbelievers try, how much harm they cause, or how much temptation they offer, they must never be able to prevent you from acting upon these verses and conveying them. The same thing is stated elsewhere: «{ يٰۤاَيُّهَا الرَّسُوْلُ بَلِّغْ مَاۤ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَّبِّكَ وَ اِنْ لَّمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهٗ [ المائدۃ: ۶۷ ] "O Messenger! Convey what has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message."
{ وَ ادْعُ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ :} This is the third command: to invite towards your Lord, meaning to continue inviting to the oneness of Allah and His religion with full force and enthusiasm, without any deficiency or negligence, as stated elsewhere: «{ قُلْ هٰذِهٖ سَبِيْلِيْۤ اَدْعُوْۤا اِلَى اللّٰهِ عَلٰى بَصِيْرَةٍ اَنَا وَ مَنِ اتَّبَعَنِيْ وَ سُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ وَ مَاۤ اَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ [ یوسف : ۱۰۸ ] "Say: This is my way; I call to Allah with clear insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is Allah, and I am not of those who associate others with Him."
{ وَ لَا تَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ :} This is the fourth command: never be among the polytheists.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

87-1 That is, the words of those disbelievers, their causing harm, and the obstacles they create in the path of preaching and invitation, should not prevent you from reciting the Quran and conveying its message. Rather, you should continue the work of calling towards your Lord with full dedication and single-mindedness.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

87. And it should never happen that after Allah’s revelations have been sent down to you, the disbelievers prevent you from acting upon them. Invite them to your Lord, and do not be among those who associate partners with Allah [120].

[120] This address is directed to you ﷺ merely for further emphasis. Otherwise, you were already striving the most against shirk, and it was impossible for shirk to emanate from you. In essence, you were addressed so that others may be properly warned.
