Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 69) {وَرَبُّكَيَعْلَمُمَاتُكِنُّصُدُوْرُهُمْ …: ’’أَكَنَّيُكِنُّإِكْنَانًا‘‘} Concealing. In the previous verse, the authority and power mentioned are not possible without knowledge, therefore it is said: "Your Lord knows what their hearts conceal and what they reveal." That is, He alone possesses power and authority, and He alone has knowledge of the hidden and the apparent. Here, a question arises: knowing the hidden matters of the hearts is indeed a unique attribute of Allah Almighty, and the creation cannot have knowledge of it, but knowing what people do or say openly is not difficult for a person. The answer is that the hidden matters of the hearts can sometimes be known to some extent through hints or gestures, but what all people are doing or saying at the same time—no one except the Lord of the worlds can know. If anyone listens, he will only hear a noise and nothing else. Elsewhere it is said: «{ سَوَآءٌمِّنْكُمْمَّنْاَسَرَّالْقَوْلَوَمَنْجَهَرَبِهٖوَمَنْهُوَمُسْتَخْفٍۭبِالَّيْلِوَسَارِبٌۢبِالنَّهَارِ }»[ الرعد : ۱۰ ] "It is the same whether any of you conceals his speech or declares it openly, and whether he hides by night or goes forth openly by day."
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
And your Lord knows well what they conceal in their hearts [94] and what they reveal.
[94] The discussion is about the excuses and pretexts of the polytheists of Makkah, which they presented as arguments for not accepting Islam. In this context, Allah Almighty has stated that the polytheists of Makkah themselves well understand the reality of such excuses and objections. And Allah is fully aware even of the thoughts in their hearts; He knows what motives lie behind such baseless objections, what incites them to make such statements, and what are the real reasons for their not believing. Then, He will deal with them accordingly.
