Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 6) {وَ نُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِي الْاَرْضِ …:} Haman was the minister of Pharaoh, who was his partner and instrument in oppression and tyranny. That is, We intended to grant them authority in the land and establish their rule, and the danger for which Pharaoh, Haman, and their armies had started killing the sons of the Children of Israel—lest their numbers and strength increase so much that they seize our government—We would make that very danger a reality for them through the Children of Israel themselves, and they would see with their own eyes that Allah’s decree can never be averted, nor can any power prevent His will from being fulfilled, as He said: «{ وَ اللّٰهُ غَالِبٌ عَلٰۤى اَمْرِهٖ وَ لٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ [ یوسف : ۲۱ ] “And Allah is dominant over His affair, but most people do not know.”

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

6-1 Here, by "land" is meant the land of Sham, where they became heirs to the land of the Canaanites, because after leaving Egypt, the Children of Israel did not return to Egypt, and Allah knows best.

6-2 That is, the fear they had that through the hands of an Israelite, Pharaoh and his kingdom and army would be destroyed, We made that fear a reality.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And to establish them in the land, and to show Pharaoh, Haman [8], and their armies through them that which they feared from them [9].

[8] Pharaoh’s minister, who was a partner and instrument in this oppression and tyranny. Its details are mentioned later in this surah.
[9] That is, the effort of Pharaoh, Haman, and their associates was to weaken the Children of Israel so much that they would never be able to rise again. For this purpose, a scheme was devised to wipe out their lineage. But We intended that the very danger they were striving so hard to avert, We would show it to them with their own eyes. And they would witness in their own lifetimes that Allah’s decree can never be averted, nor can any power prevent or delay it.
