Say (to them, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Then bring a Book from Allâh, which is a better guide than these two [the Taurât (Torah) and the Qur’an], that I may follow it, if you are truthful."

(Ayah 49) { قُلْفَاْتُوْابِكِتٰبٍمِّنْعِنْدِاللّٰهِ … :} That is, say to them that if you are truthful in your claim that I and Musa are magicians and the Torah and the Quran are magic, then bring forth a book that is not fabricated, but rather from Allah, and is more guiding than these two books, then I will follow it without hesitation, because I am only concerned with guidance.

49-1. That is, if you are truthful in your claim that the Noble Quran and the Torah are both magic, then present another divine book which is more guiding than these, I will follow it, because I am a seeker and follower of guidance.

Say to them: "Then bring a Book from Allah that is a better guide than these two, and I will follow it, if you are truthful." [67]
[67] Say to these disbelievers of Makkah that I am ready to follow the Book of guidance revealed from Allah. If you have any Book of guidance better than the Torah and the Quran, then why have you kept it hidden? Bring it forth, and I will be the first to follow it. Allah has given this answer because they call both the Torah and the Quran magic, and magic is something that can be countered and something better can be brought in its place. Therefore, if these books are magic, then why do you not present something better than them?
