Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 30) ➊ For the explanation of { فَلَمَّاۤاَتٰىهَانُوْدِيَ …:’’ شَاطِئِالْوَادِالْاَيْمَنِ ‘‘}, see Surah Maryam (52) and Ta-Ha (80) {’’ مِنَالشَّجَرَةِ ‘‘}. When Musa (peace be upon him) came near this fire, he saw that there was fire in a lush green tree, and instead of burning, the tree appeared even greener and more beautiful. While Musa (peace be upon him) was watching this scene in amazement, a voice came from the tree: "O Musa! Indeed, I am Allah, the Lord of all the worlds."
➋ { اِنِّيْۤاَنَااللّٰهُرَبُّالْعٰلَمِيْنَ:} See Surah Ta-Ha (14). Here, Allah Almighty has mentioned introducing Himself to Musa (peace be upon him) with two names: one is {’’ اللّٰهُ ‘‘}, which is the proper noun, encompassing all His attributes, and the other is {’’ رَبُّالْعٰلَمِيْنَ ‘‘}, which is one of Allah's names that includes all those attributes whose effects are observable by people. In Surah Ta-Ha, these same two names are also mentioned, as He said: «{ اِنِّيْۤاَنَارَبُّكَفَاخْلَعْنَعْلَيْكَ }»[ طٰہٰ : ۱۲ ] and «{ اِنَّنِيْۤاَنَااللّٰهُلَاۤاِلٰهَاِلَّاۤاَنَا }»[ طٰہٰ : ۱۴ ]. Here, the matter is brief, but in Surah Ta-Ha, He also commanded to act according to the requirements of these names, saying: «{ فَاعْبُدْنِيْوَاَقِمِالصَّلٰوةَلِذِكْرِيْ (16) اِنَّالسَّاعَةَاٰتِيَةٌاَكَادُاُخْفِيْهَالِتُجْزٰىكُلُّنَفْسٍۭبِمَاتَسْعٰى (15) فَلَايَصُدَّنَّكَعَنْهَامَنْلَّايُؤْمِنُبِهَاوَاتَّبَعَهَوٰىهُفَتَرْدٰى }»[طٰہٰ : ۱۴ تا ۱۶ ] "So worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. Indeed, the Hour is coming—I am about to conceal it—so that every soul may be recompensed for what it strives for. So let not one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his own desire, lest you perish." In Surah An-Naml, two more attributes are also mentioned, as He said: «{ يٰمُوْسٰۤىاِنَّهٗۤاَنَااللّٰهُالْعَزِيْزُالْحَكِيْمُ }»[ النمل : ۹ ] "O Musa! Indeed, it is I—Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise." This means that Allah Almighty mentioned all these attributes on this occasion, then in each Surah, He mentioned some of these attributes according to its context.

30-1. That is, the voice was coming from the edge of the valley, which was on the right side of the mountain from the western direction. Here, flames of fire were rising from the tree, which was actually the light of the manifestation of the Lord.
30-2. That is, O Musa! The One who is addressing and speaking to you at this moment, I am Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.

30. Then, when Moses reached it, a voice called out to him from the right side of the valley, from a blessed spot, from a tree: "O Moses! Indeed, I am Allah [40], the Lord of all the worlds."
[40] Reaching Tuwa, Speaking with Allah, and Receiving Prophethood:
This was not fire, nor was smoke rising from it. Rather, it was the light of Allah, which had encompassed a tree, and amidst this fire or light, the lush green tree was waving. A voice began to come from this tree, saying, "Musa! You have not reached here by coincidence, but you have arrived in this blessed valley exactly according to My plan, and I, Allah, am speaking to you, the Lord of all the worlds." (At this point, the details of the conversation between Allah and Musa have been omitted, which are mentioned in Surah Ta-Ha and other places.)
