Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 77){ وَ اِنَّهٗ لَهُدًى وَّ رَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ:} Although this Qur’an has been revealed to warn all the worlds (see Furqan: 1), guidance and mercy from it are attained only by those who believe in it. (See Baqarah: 2 to 5) And only the believers are saved from those misguidances in which the Children of Israel and the polytheists of Arabia became entangled. By virtue of this Qur’an, they will find the straight path of life, and by virtue of it, they will receive such mercies from Allah that neither the Children of Israel nor the disbelievers of Quraysh could even imagine. Thus, within a few years, those people who were completely immersed in misguidance became leaders of guidance for the world, and so many mercies of Allah were bestowed upon them that they became rulers over a vast portion of the earth.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

77-1. The specification of the believers is because they alone benefit from the Qur'an. Among them are also those from the Children of Israel who had embraced faith.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And it is guidance [81] and mercy for the believers.

[81] That is, this Quran points out the straight path amidst the differences of the Children of Israel, and whoever believes in it, it saves them from those misguidances in which these people are currently entangled. Furthermore, when they find the straight path of life through the Quran and act upon it, Allah will bestow upon them such mercies that the Quraysh of today cannot even imagine. Thus, by virtue of this very Quran, within just a few years, such a transformation took place among these believers that those very Bedouins, who were once notorious for looting and bloodshed, became the leaders of the world, the teachers of human civilization, and the rulers of a large part of the earth.
