Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 70) ➊ { وَ لَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ:} In this, comfort has been given to you (ﷺ) that if these people do not believe, then do not be grieved over them. Your duty is to convey and to warn about the consequences of evil; making someone a believer is neither your task nor your responsibility.
{ وَ لَا تَكُنْ فِيْ ضَيْقٍ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُوْنَ :} That is, do not be disheartened by the plots and schemes these people devise against you; Allah Almighty is your Protector and Guardian: «{ وَ اللّٰهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ النَّاسِ [ المائدۃ : ۶۷ ] He alone will save you from these people, and they will themselves be caught in their own deceit and trickery; they will not be able to harm you in any way.

70. (O Prophet!) Do not grieve over them, nor be distressed by their schemes [75].

[75] That is, those disbelievers who, instead of believing in you, have become determined to oppose you and are busy weaving webs of conspiracies against Islam—do not be distressed or saddened by such activities of theirs. Allah will not allow any of their plots to succeed.
