Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 99) {وَ مَاۤ اَضَلَّنَاۤ اِلَّا الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ : } By these criminals are meant those leaders and chieftains who led them astray. The followers and devotees will be targeting those very people with blame whom they used to consider their leaders and elders in the world, whose hands and feet they used to kiss, to whom they used to offer vows and offerings. On the Day of Judgment, when the reality will be revealed and the followers will realize where the leaders have brought them and where they themselves are, then these very followers will declare them criminals and curse them. The Quran has depicted this scene at several places, so that people do not follow anyone blindly and instead of imitation, they should act with investigation. See Surah Al-Baqarah (166, 167), Al-A'raf (38, 37), Al-Ahzab (67, 68), Ha Mim As-Sajdah (29), and Surah Sad (59 to 61).

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

99-1. That is, upon reaching there, it will be realized that other criminals led us astray. In the world, they are made aware that such and such actions are misguidance, are innovation, are shirk, but they do not accept, nor do they reflect so that truth and falsehood may become clear to them.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan.
