Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 195) ➊ { بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِيٍّ:} It is understood that not only were the meanings and concepts of the Noble Qur’an revealed to the Prophet (peace be upon him), for which he then clothed them in words, but rather, it was revealed to him in the form of words in the Arabic language. Some people deny that Allah the Exalted speaks with words; this verse and many other verses refute them. The reality is that this is the miraculous speech of Allah the Exalted in the Arabic language, which is His distinction; even if all creation were to gather, they would be unable to bring forth not only the meanings but even the words like it.
{ مُبِيْنٍ :} That is, the disbelievers’ refusal to believe in it is not due to any deficiency in its explanation, but rather due to their own incapacity or stubbornness, because it is in the most eloquent language, Arabic, among all languages, and in such Arabic which is not the language of riddles or puzzles, but “clear Arabic.” There is not a single word or expression in it that is not commonly used among the Arabs, nor is there any deficiency in conveying the meaning. Those who are not believing in it have absolutely no excuse that they could not understand it.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The exegesis of this verse has been done along with the previous verse.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

In clear Arabic language [114].

[114] That is, this revelation which Jibreel Amin brought down upon your heart is in a very eloquent, clear, and expressive language. This is because your people also speak and understand the Arabic language. And its purpose is that when you warn them about their end, the message can be fully understood by them. It should be clear that even the words of the manifest revelation (wahy jali) are inspired by Allah.
