Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

By {نَزَلَ بِهِ الرُّوْحُ الْاَمِيْنُ : ’’ الرُّوْحُ ‘‘} is meant the angel; he is called "Ruh" (Spirit) because angels belong to the realm of spirits rather than the realm of bodies. (Ibn Ashur) {’’ الْاَمِيْنُ ‘‘} "most trustworthy," refers to Jibreel (Gabriel), because Allah has appointed him as the trustworthy one to deliver His message to the prophets. This quality of his, along with other attributes, can be seen in Surah At-Takweer (verses 19 to 21).

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

193-1. The disbelievers of Makkah denied the divine revelation and heavenly origin of the Quran, and on this basis, they denied the Prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ and his message. Allah Almighty narrated the incidents of the Prophets (علیہم السلام) to make it clear that this Quran is certainly divine revelation and Muhammad ﷺ is indeed the true Messenger of Allah. Because if it were not so, then how could this Prophet, who could neither read nor write, narrate the incidents of previous Prophets and nations? Therefore, this Quran is certainly revealed by Allah, the Lord of all worlds, which was brought by a trustworthy angel, Jibreel (علیہ السلام).

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Which the Trustworthy Spirit brought down upon your heart [112].

[112] That is, this Quran and the historical events mentioned in it have been revealed from Allah, the Lord of all the worlds, Who is the Knower of the unseen and the seen. Then, the trustworthy Spirit, that is, Jibreel ؑ, descended with these Quranic verses. He cannot make any addition or omission from himself. Then, when the One Who sends knows the unseen and the seen completely, and the one who brings it is also trustworthy, is there any room left for doubt regarding the truthfulness of these verses?
