رَبِّ نَجِّنِى وَأَهْلِى مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿169﴾

(Ayah 169) {رَبِّ نَجِّنِيْ وَ اَهْلِيْ مِمَّا يَعْمَلُوْنَ :} That is, send down the consequence and punishment of those deeds upon the disbelievers, and protect us from the evil effects and consequences of their evil deeds.

Then (he prayed), "My Lord! Save me and my family [101] from what these people are doing."

[101] Prophet Lut (Lot) ؑ and his few followers were extremely disgusted with this shameless and filthy type of society. When Lut ؑ lost hope that these people would come to the right path and their rebellion only increased, at that time, in a state of great distress, he prayed to Allah that we could no longer remain in this shameless society, so He should create some way for our deliverance from these people.
