Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 114){ قٰلَ اِنْ لَّبِثْتُمْ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًا … :} Allah Almighty, confirming their statement, will say that indeed you stayed in the world for a very short time, because the world and its possessions are, due to their perishable nature, truly very little, as He said: « قُلْ مَتَاعُ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيْلٌ وَ الْاٰخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنِ اتَّقٰى » [ النساء : ۷۷ ] "Say, the enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better for the one who is righteous." But now this admission is of no benefit; if only you had known this at that time, then in that short period you would have obeyed your Lord and become heirs to the everlasting gardens.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

1. Its meaning is that, compared to the eternal life of the Hereafter, indeed the life of this world is very brief. But you did not realize this point in the world; if only you had become aware of its reality and the transience of the world while in the world, then today you too would have been successful and prosperous like the people of faith.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

He (Allah) will say: "You stayed only a little [106], if only you had known (this earlier)."

[106] That is, this is exactly what Allah Almighty had said: that your life is short-lived and temporary. Therefore, do not become intoxicated with the world and its possessions, but rather be concerned about the Hereafter. But at that time, you used to mock even this statement of Ours and believed that this worldly life was the only true reality. So, you thought you should enjoy as much as you could, for when would such an opportunity come again? And today, you yourselves are admitting this. If only you had known this during your worldly life.
