It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 112){ قٰلَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِي الْاَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِيْنَ :} The disbelievers denied the Resurrection and did not believe in any life except the worldly life. In their view, it was not possible to be brought back to life after becoming dust and bones, so they considered the worldly life to be everything, preferred it over the Hereafter, and lived as if they would remain here forever. However, if they had considered this short time as a blessing and preferred the Hereafter over the world, spending it in obedience to Allah, they would have become the owners of the never-ending blessings of Paradise as a reward. But they considered this short time to be a very long period and spent it in disobedience to Allah, so in return, they became deserving of the eternal punishment of Hell. On the Day of Resurrection, when they will be afflicted with a punishment that will never end, Allah Almighty will ask them, in order to remind them of the reality of this life which they considered to be everything: How many years did you remain on earth?
