إِنِّى جَزَيْتُهُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ ﴿111﴾

Verily I have rewarded them this Day for their patience: they are indeed the ones that are successful.

(Ayah 111){ اِنِّيْ جَزَيْتُهُمُ الْيَوْمَ …:} In this world, a testing phase for the people of faith is that when they act upon the religion, those ignorant of the religion and unaware of faith make them targets of mockery and blame. There are many with weak faith who, out of fear of these reproaches, avoid acting upon many divine commands, such as distancing themselves from polytheistic customs and rejecting them, keeping a beard, the issue of hijab, abstaining from Hindu-like customs in marriage, death, etc. Fortunate are those who do not care about any reproach and never deviate from obedience to Allah and His Messenger on any occasion. Allah Almighty will grant them the best reward for this on the Day of Judgment and will honor only them with success. O Allah! Include us also among these fortunate ones. Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf

In the world, a testing phase for the people of faith is also that when they act upon religion and faith, those unfamiliar with religion and unaware of faith make them targets of ridicule and blame. There are so many with weak faith who, out of fear of such reproaches, refrain from acting upon many commands of Allah, such as keeping a beard, the issue of hijab, abstaining from Hindu customs in weddings, and so on. Fortunate are those who do not care about any reproach and never deviate from obedience to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ at any occasion; Allah Almighty will grant them the best reward for this on the Day of Judgment and will honor them with success. As is clear from this verse. اللَّھُمَّ ! اَجْعَلْنَا مِنْھُمْ.

Today I have rewarded them for their patience [104]; indeed, they are the successful ones.

[104] But in response to your mockery and ridicule, My sincere servants continued to be patient in the world. Today, I will give you the full recompense for your deeds, and I am granting them the complete reward for their patience. I am bestowing upon them a place where they will be blessed with every kind of pleasure and happiness, and it is these patient people who have truly succeeded in every way.
