(Ayah 75) ➊ { اَللّٰهُيَصْطَفِيْمِنَالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِرُسُلًاوَّمِنَالنَّاسِ :} Here the question arises that if even the most excellent creatures, the closest angels and prophets, cannot create a fly, then what is their greatness? The answer is that their greatness is not that they have become creators and partners with Allah; their greatness is that Allah Almighty has chosen these angels from among all the angels and these humans from among all the humans to convey His message. What could be a greater honor for a creature than this? ➋ { اِنَّاللّٰهَسَمِيْعٌۢبَصِيْرٌ :} That is, Allah Almighty sees and hears everything; He knows who is worthy of which position. Therefore, there can be no mistake in His selection, nor can anyone make a better choice than Him.

75. 1. Rusul is the plural of Rasul (envoy, sent messenger). Allah Almighty has also assigned the task of risalah, that is, delivering messages, to the angels, such as selecting Jibreel ؑ for His revelation so that he may deliver revelation to the messengers. Or to take punishment to the nations, and from among the people as well, He chose whomever He wished for risalah and appointed them for the guidance and leadership of the people. All of these were servants of Allah, though they were chosen and selected, but for what? For sharing in divine authority? As some people have considered them partners of Allah. No, rather only for delivering Allah’s message.
75. 2. He is the Hearer of the servants’ words and the Seer. That is, He knows who is deserving of risalah. As He said at another place (اَللّٰهُاَعْلَمُحَيْثُيَجْعَلُرِسَالَتَهٗ) 6. Al-An’am:124) “Allah knows best where to place His message.”

75. Allah chooses messengers from among the angels and from among the people [104]. Surely, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.
[104] That is, for delivering messages, Allah selects from among the angels and from among mankind according to His own wisdom and discretion. Among the angels, there is Jibreel or those angels who came as messengers to Zakariya, Maryam, Ibrahim, and Lut (peace be upon them), and among the people, all the prophets and messengers have conveyed Allah’s message to the people. In authentic ahadith, it is mentioned that just as the prophets among people are the most virtuous, likewise, the messenger angels are superior to other angels. In fact, this verse is a response to an objection of the disbelievers; they used to say that if Allah had to send a messenger, He should have chosen a great man from the major towns of Makkah or Ta’if. In reply, Allah said that He knows best who is worthy of messengership among the people, and no one has the right to object in this matter.
