Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 70){ اَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَآءِ وَ الْاَرْضِ …:} That is, do you not even know the clear fact that whatever is in the heavens and the earth, Allah knows it, and nothing is hidden from Him? Neither the obedience of His sincere and submissive servants is concealed from Him, nor are the mischief and corruption of His deniers and disobedient ones hidden from Him. Therefore, with this knowledge, He will recompense everyone for their deeds. Along with this, it has also been clearly stated that whatever each person is doing is being carefully preserved in a book, so no one should remain under the delusion that these are merely empty words, or to wonder how the record can of every deed of so many creatures be kept, and how judgment will be made among them. It is said that indeed, this is a difficult, rather impossible, task for you, but for Allah, this is not difficult at all, because He is fully capable of everything.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

70. 1. In this, Allah has mentioned His perfect knowledge and His encompassing of the creation. That is, whatever His creation was going to do, He already had knowledge of it; He knew them. Thus, He wrote these matters beforehand with His knowledge. And even if this matter seems very difficult to people, it is absolutely easy for Allah. This is the very issue of Qadar (divine decree), and it is necessary to have faith in it, as it has been stated in the hadith in this way: "Allah, fifty thousand years before the creation of the heavens and the earth, when His Throne was upon the water, wrote the destinies of the creation." (Sahih Muslim) And in a narration from the Sunan: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The first thing Allah created was the Pen, and said to it, 'Write.' It said, 'What should I write?' Allah said, 'Write everything that is going to happen.' So it wrote everything that was going to happen until the Day of Resurrection by Allah's command." (Abu Dawood, Kitab al-Sunnah)

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Do you not know that Allah knows all that is in the heavens and the earth? Surely, all this [98] is recorded in a Book (the Preserved Tablet). For Allah, this is indeed very easy.

[98] That is, the changes in the laws or methods of worship of different prophets and the reasons for them—all of this is according to Allah’s knowledge and predetermined, and it is already recorded in Allah’s Book. Then Allah also knows who are the people who will create disputes even over such a clear matter. Allah’s prior knowledge of all these things, and then deciding among these disputers and punishing them for their stubbornness, are insignificant and trivial matters compared to Allah’s vast knowledge and immense power.
