Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 7,6) ➊ {ذٰلِكَبِاَنَّاللّٰهَهُوَالْحَقُّ … :} Two meanings have been stated for this verse. One is that the "ba" is sababiyyah, which relates to {’’كَائِنٌ‘‘} and so on, which are derived from general verbs. That is, the reason for the creation of the children of Adam and the reviving of the dead earth is that Allah Almighty alone is the Everlasting and Existing One, so He alone is the Originator of both and of everything. {’’ وَاَنَّهٗيُحْيِالْمَوْتٰى ‘‘} And the reason for this is that He alone will resurrect the dead; if He did not have the power to resurrect the dead, then how could He give life to lifeless dust and a drop of fluid and to dead earth? {’’ وَاَنَّهٗعَلٰىكُلِّشَيْءٍقَدِيْرٌ ‘‘} And the reason for this is that Allah Almighty is fully capable of everything, so He is also capable of giving life to a drop of fluid and to dead earth. {’’ وَاَنَّالسَّاعَةَاٰتِيَةٌ …‘‘} And the reason for this is that the Day of Resurrection is coming, and Allah Almighty will resurrect those buried in graves, so that everyone may be recompensed for what they have done; otherwise, there would be no purpose in bringing a person from a drop of fluid to youth and then to old age, whereas none of Allah Almighty's actions are in vain or purposeless. The ancient commentators state this meaning. ➋ The second meaning is that the "ba" should be related to a word that fits the context, such as {’’ شَاهِدٌ ‘‘} and so on, {’’أَيْذٰلِكَشَاهِدٌبِأَنَّاللّٰهَهُوَالْحَقُّ‘‘} meaning that all that has passed, i.e., the creation of man from dust, then from a drop of fluid (to the end), and the reviving of dead earth by water, is a witness and proof that Allah Almighty alone is the Truth and He alone will resurrect the dead... The later commentators prefer this meaning.
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
The exegesis of this verse has been done along with the previous verse.
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
6. All this happens because Allah alone is the Truth [6]; He gives life to the dead, and He is capable of everything.
[6] Three Meanings of Allah Being "The Truth":
This phrase can have three meanings, and all three are correct. First, that here "Haqq" means "true." That is, from both of these examples it becomes clear that Allah Ta'ala is declaring resurrection after death to be final and certain, so His statement is absolutely true. Second, that the very being of Allah Ta'ala is a solid reality. His existence is not an imaginary one that has been accepted due to intellectual difficulties, as is the view of philosophers who, after connecting the chains of cause and effect and becoming helpless, are compelled to accept a being as "Necessary Existence" or "First Cause." In contrast, Allah Ta'ala is a living, eternal being who acts according to His will in everything and has control over everything. And third, that whatever is manifesting in this universe is based on solid realities. Allah Ta'ala did not create this entire universe and the events occurring within it merely for amusement. And there are countless other verses of the Quran that bear witness to all three of these meanings.
