ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاكَ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّـٰمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ ﴿10﴾
That is because of what your hands have sent forth, and verily, Allâh is not unjust to (His) slaves.
ذَٰلِكَ dhālika That
بِمَا bimā (is) for what
قَدَّمَتْ qaddamat have sent forth
يَدَاكَ yadāka your hands
وَأَنَّ wa-anna and that
ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
لَيْسَ laysa is not
بِظَلَّـٰمٍۢ biẓallāmin unjust
لِّلْعَبِيدِ lil'ʿabīdi to His slaves

(Ayah 10) {وَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيْدِ :} For its exegesis, see Surah Al-Imran (182) and Al-Anfal (51). Some scholars have written another explanation that the pattern of {’’فَعَّالٌ‘‘} does not always indicate exaggeration, but sometimes it is only for attribution, that is, in the meaning of {’’ذُوْ شَيْءٍ‘‘} (possessor of something), like {’’سَمَّانٌ‘‘} (one with ghee), {’’ قَطَّانٌ ‘‘} (one with cotton), {’’حَدَّادٌ‘‘} (blacksmith), {تَمَّارٌ} (one with dates). The meaning is that here {’’ظَلَّامٌ‘‘} is not for exaggeration, but the intent is that Allah, the Exalted, is such a sublime being to whom even the attribution of injustice cannot be made.

10. (And it will be said,) "This is the recompense for what your own hands have sent forth, for Allah never wrongs His servants [9]."

[9] Such a person actually commits three crimes: First, he denied divine revelation out of ignorance, prejudice, and stubbornness, while he has neither any empirical evidence, nor rational, nor transmitted proof. Second, he displayed arrogance and pride. Third, he became a cause for others to be kept away from the path of truth. Therefore, it will be made clear in the most explicit way that this is the recompense for your own deeds. And Allah does not have any desire to punish anyone needlessly, nor is it befitting for Allah to wrong anyone.
