(Ayah 8){ اَللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ … :} That is, the Being whose attributes have been described is Allah, besides whom there is no one worthy of worship. For the explanation of {’’ لَهُ الْاَسْمَآءُ الْحُسْنٰى ‘‘}, see Surah Al-A'raf (180).

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. 8. 1. That is, the only true deity is the One who possesses the aforementioned attributes, and the best names also belong to Him, by which He is invoked. There is no deity besides Him, nor does anyone else possess His beautiful names. Therefore, true knowledge should be acquired about Him alone, fear should be kept of Him alone, love should be kept for Him alone, faith should be placed in Him alone, and obedience should be given to Him alone. So that when a person returns to His presence, he is not ashamed there, but rather becomes happy with His mercy and forgiveness and attains felicity through His pleasure.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The Most Beautiful Names (Asma' al-Husna):

"Asma" refers to names as well. In authentic hadiths, ninety-nine names are mentioned. However, upon a thorough study of the Book and Sunnah, even more names can be found. "Asma" also refers to attributes, and all these names of Allah are expressions of His attributes. In other words, all these are attributive names. However, among them, there are two names that are exclusive to Allah alone and cannot be used for any other creation: one is "Allah" and the other is "Rahman."
