‘Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), under which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever: such is the reward of those who purify themselves (by abstaining from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which Allâh has forbidden and by doing all that Allâh has ordained).

76. 1. In contrast to the people of Hell, the luxurious life of Paradise that will be granted to the believers is mentioned, and it is made clear that those who will deserve it are the ones who, after bringing faith, will fulfill its requirements. That is, they will adopt righteous deeds and purify their souls from the pollution of sins. Because faith is not merely the utterance of a few words with the tongue, but it is the name of a combination of belief and action.

(Everlasting) gardens beneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever. This is the reward for the one who remained pure [54].
[54] That is, he kept himself safe from corrupt beliefs, vile morals, impure thoughts, and evil deeds. After believing, they continued to do good deeds; such people will be granted the high ranks of the blessed Paradise.
