And those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh تعالى - Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, they are dwellers of Paradise, they will dwell therein forever. (See V. 2:257)

82. 1. Refuting the claims of the Jews, here the principle of Paradise or Hell is being stated: whoever’s record of deeds contains only evil deeds, that is, disbelief and polytheism, and as for the sinful believers, their matter is left to Allah; if He wills, by His grace and mercy, by forgiving their sins, or as a punishment, after keeping them in Hell for some time, or through the intercession of the Prophet ﷺ, He will admit them into Paradise, as these matters are established from Sahih ahadith and are the belief of Ahl al-Sunnah.

82. And those who believe and do righteous deeds, it is they who are the inhabitants of Paradise, wherein [95] they will abide forever.
[95] Here, the mention of the people of faith and Paradise is only because it is the style of the Quran to mention Paradise along with Hell. As has already been written, after this, the mention of the Children of Israel begins again.
