Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
Verily, We have sent you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) with the truth (Islâm), a bringer of glad tidings (for those who believe in what you brought, that they will enter Paradise) and a warner (for those who disbelieve in what you brought, that they will enter the Hell-fire). And you will not be asked about the dwellers of the blazing Fire.

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 119) That is, your duty is to convey the truth by giving glad tidings and warning; you will not be questioned as to why these people did not become Muslims.

119. We have [142] surely sent youﷺ with the truth as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner. And you will not be questioned about the companions of the Hellfire [143].
[142] For example, the Messenger who has come to you—you yourselves know that he has never told a lie until today, so can a person who does not lie to any human being fabricate a lie against Allah? Moreover, you know that he does not know how to read or write, nor does he have any teacher, yet he presents such speech before you that all of you are unable to produce anything like it. So, is this not in itself clear proof of the existence of Allah, the Prophethood of the Prophet, and the Quran being the Word of Allah? But for the one who has no intention of accepting, no sign can compel him to believe.
[143] That is, your ﷺ duty is only to convey Allah’s message to His servants. Now, if people do not believe and become deserving of Hell, then in this matter there is no blame upon you ﷺ.
