The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

66. 1 Here, "insan" refers to the disbeliever as a species, who does not believe in the occurrence of the Day of Judgment and resurrection after death. 66. 2 The interrogative is for the purpose of denial. That is, when I become decayed and mixed with dust, how will I be granted a new existence again? That is, such a thing is not possible.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

66. Man says, "When I am dead, will I really be brought forth alive again [63]?"

[63] That is, those devils whom they have become obedient to and followers of, keep teaching them this lesson: Eat, drink, and enjoy yourselves, for this life is before everyone, but the other life is a vague notion and uncertain. For whoever has died has mixed with the earth and become dust. None of them has ever come back to life and returned.
