It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

90. 1. That is, he reached such a place which was the last settlement on the eastern side, it has been called "Matla' ash-Shams". There he saw such a people who, instead of living in houses, were settled in fields and deserts, and were also free from clothing. This means that there was no curtain or cover between them and the sun. The sun would rise upon their naked bodies.

90. Until, when he reached the rising place of the sun, he found it rising upon a people for whom We had provided no shelter against it [74].

[74] The second journey was towards the east. Conquering those regions, he finally reached a place where the civilized world ended, and he encountered such a wild and uncivilized people who did not even know how to build a home. To protect themselves from the heat of the sun or from rain, they had neither the light, portable homes of tents nor houses, and they used to spend their lives in the caves and hollows of mountains, or they had become accustomed to enduring the sun’s heat and rain, etc.
