And the Book (one’s Record) will be placed (in the right hand for a believer in the Oneness of Allâh, and in the left hand for a disbeliever in the Oneness of Allâh), and you will see the Mujrimûn (criminals, polytheists, sinners), fearful of that which is (recorded) therein. They will say: "Woe to us! What sort of Book is this that leaves neither a small thing nor a big thing, but has recorded it with numbers!" And they will find all that they did, placed before them, and your Lord treats no one with injustice.

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 49) ➊ { مَالِ هٰذَا الْكِتٰبِ :} Baqa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) has mentioned a point regarding the separation of the prepositional "Lam" in the Uthmani script, that the criminals will be so terrified that they will pause at certain words. Allama Qasimi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that this is one of Baqa'i's subtle points.
:} For its synonymous verses, see Aal-e-Imran (30) and Zalzalah (7, 8).
That is, He will not punish anyone without fault, nor will it happen that someone has not committed a sin and it is recorded in his book of deeds.
