Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 48) {لَقَدْجِئْتُمُوْنَاكَمَاخَلَقْنٰكُمْاَوَّلَمَرَّةٍ …:} That is, Allah Almighty will say this to them. See Surah Al-An'am (94). This address will be to the deniers of the Hereafter, as is at the end of this verse: «بَلْزَعَمْتُمْاَلَّنْنَّجْعَلَلَكُمْمَّوْعِدًا » "Rather, you assumed that We would never appoint for you any time of promise." Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: [ تُحْشَرُوْنَحُفَاةًعُرَاةًغُرْلاًقَالَتْعَائِشَةُفَقُلْتُيَارَسُوْلَاللّٰهِ ! الرِّجَالُوَالنِّسَاءُيَنْظُرُبَعْضُهُمْإِلٰیبَعْضٍ؟فَقَالَالْأَمْرُأَشَدُّمِنْأَنْيُهِمَّهُمْذَاكِ ][ بخاری، الرقاق، باب الحشر : ۶۵۲۷ ] "You will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "O Messenger of Allah! Will men and women look at each other?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "The matter will be far more severe than for them to be concerned about that." This hadith is also narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), in which he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: «كَمَابَدَاْنَاۤاَوَّلَخَلْقٍنُّعِيْدُهٗوَعْدًاعَلَيْنَااِنَّاكُنَّافٰعِلِيْنَ »[ الأنبیاء : ۱۰۴ ] "Just as We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. [It is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it." In this hadith, it is also mentioned: [ ثُمَّإِنَّأَوَّلَالْخَلاَئِقِيُكْسٰیيَوْمَالْقِيَامَةِإِبْرَاهِيْمُ ][ بخاری، التفسیر، سورۃ الأنبیاء، باب : «کما بدأنا أول خلق نعیدہ وعداً علینا» : ۴۷۴۰، ۶۵۲۶ ] "Then the first to be clothed will be Ibrahim (peace be upon him)." From this, it is understood that only the disbelievers will remain continuously unclothed.
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf

The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
48. 1. Its meaning is that they will stand before Allah in a single row, or they will be present in the Divine Court in the form of rows.
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. 48. And they will be presented before your Lord in rows, and He will say, "Indeed, you have come to Us just as We created you the first time [44]. But you claimed that We would never appoint for you a meeting [45]."
[44] Gathering on the Day of Judgment While Naked:
Just as they were created alone for the first time, created whole and sound, and created completely naked, in the same way they will be created again. Thus, Sayyidah Aisha ؓ narrates that one day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "On the Day of Judgment, people will be gathered barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised." I said: "O Messenger of Allah! In that case, men and women will look at each other." He ﷺ said: "That time will be so severe that no one will even be aware of such things." [بخاري، كتاب الرقاق، باب كيف الحشر]
[45] At that time, it will be said to the deniers of the Hereafter: The thing you used to deny, has it not now become a reality before you?
